Educational Church Ministries

Have you felt a calling to become a youth pastor, youth discipleship leader, or youth camp/retreat leader in a church/camp setting?

The Educational Church Ministries program equips those students who wish to serve in an education capacity in their local church. This will include classes on Bible, theology, and education as well as hands-on experience through service in local churches. A combination of study including Bible and practical experience provides resources to apply principles and methods of teaching, including those used by Jesus.

Upon completion of this program the student should be able to articulate and embrace a philosophy of education in the church. The student will also develop, organize, and implement education-oriented programs that promote spiritual formation for all who attend their local church. Teaching, mentoring, and discipling believers at all stages of life is an important aspect of the Educational Church Ministries program. The program also reflects on the effects a concentrated emphasis in the Spiritual Disciplines has on his or her walk with God.

If you feel called to work in an educational capacity in your local church, KMBC’s Educational Church Ministries program is for you!
