Youth Evangelism and Discipleship

Have you felt a calling to become a youth pastor, youth discipleship leader, or youth camp/retreat leader in a church/camp setting?

The Youth Evangelism and Discipleship program is designed to prepare men and women to meet the demands for trained leadership in church ministries that are aimed at discipling youth, primarily aged 12-18. A combination of study including Bible and hands-on experience provide resources to apply principles and methods of teaching, including those used by Jesus.

Upon completion of this program the student should be able to articulate and embrace a philosophy of youth discipleship. The student will also develop, organize, and implement youth ministry-oriented programs that promote spiritual formation through the young people at your local church. Teaching, mentoring, and discipling believers at the middle stages of life is an important aspect of the Youth Evangelism and Discipleship program. The program also reflects on the effects a concentrated emphasis in the Spiritual Disciplines has on his or her walk with God.

If you feel called to youth ministry and discipleship, KMBC’s Youth Evangelism and Discipleship program is for you!
