Preaching
KMBC Ministerial students often have the opportunity to preach in local churches under the Kentucky Mountain Holiness Association. Students will work with their supervisor to prepare and deliver meaningful and biblically sound sermons and messages to local congregations during weekly services. Students will gain experience in delivering the Gospel to real people in a real church.
Music Ministry
Students with musical talent can be involved in many different field ministries. KMBC students often serve as song leaders, accompanists, and as a part of our traveling singing groups. Song leaders and accompanists help lead worship in local congregations working with pastors and worship leaders. Students can also be apart of our traveling singing groups. Our singing groups and Choir minister and represent KMBC at churches, camps, and retreats throughout the year.
Youth Ministry
Students with an interest or calling to youth can complete their Field Ministry assignment by leading youth services on either Sunday or Wednesdays. Students will work with local churches to prepare and deliver lessons that are appropriate and relevant to the youth of today.
Children's Ministry
KMBC students work with local churches to lead children’s services on either Sunday or Wednesday each week. Students get the opportunity to impact the lives of children through engaging lessons, crafts, and activities.
Prison Ministry
Each week KMBC staff and students have the opportunity to lead a Wednesday night worship service in a nearby men’s prison. Students can do special music, share devotionals, testimonies, and preach the Gospel to these men who need the hope of Christ! Services are led by certified volunteers and safety procedures are followed
Pro-Life Ministry
KMBC Stands for Life! Once a month a KMBC team travels to Louisville, KY to minister and spread the hope of the Gospel at one of the last remaining abortion clinics in the state of Kentucky.
Mission Trips
KMBC students have numerous mission trip opportunities both in the United States and in other countries! KMBC students serve in both the churches and street ministries taking the Word of God, and encouraging believers all over the world.
“We get to put our knowledge in the classroom into practice on the field. It has grown me in more ways that I can count. It has better prepared me for the day I graduate and move to a church…”
Ra’chell Allen Class of ’20
“As a Bible college student, it is vital that I put the tools of ministry that I learn to use. KMBC’s field ministry program gives me the experience needed and the opportunity to let the Holy Spirit flow from me into other’s lives.”
Matthew Dickerson Class of ’23
