Recharge! It’s a double header event with two parts. One part is a KMBC Open House for high-school sophomores, juniors, seniors and recent grads. The Recharge Conference has been designed for pastors and Christian leaders involved in local church leadership.
In every profession, workers need to take special refresher courses to stay current and up-to-date. For pastors and those involved in church leadership, it is no different! To be at our best for God we need to take time to recharge our spiritual batteries, sharpen our tools, and catch a new vision and passion for ministry. To meet this need, KMBC is sponsoring “Recharge,” KMBC’s annual fall leadership conference. This year’s conference promises to be a time for refreshment and rejuvenation. Be sure to mark this free event on your calendars! Speakers for the Recharge event include:
Dr. Mark Eckhart is the Wesleyan District Superintendent of Southern Indiana. His two topics will be how to have a gold star church and a gold star marriage.
Rev. Aaron Sherman is the Wesleyan District Superintendent of the Kentucky/Tennessee District. He will be speaking on practical pointers for pastoring & growing a vibrant church.
Rev. Mike Pounds is the President of RESTORE and Community Compassion Connections. He will be presenting on church planting techniques.
Rev. David Speas, pastor of Clinton First Wesleyan Church in Clinton, Tennessee will be addressing how to effectively use technology in your church.
Dr. Phil Speas, President of Kentucky Mountain BIble College, will be discussing how to fundraise for special projects.
