Senior Spotlight: David (Bubba) Jennings
David (Bubba) Jennings graduated from KMBC in May 2016. While at KMBC he has been Class President, Student Council President (two terms), Resident Assistant, and this last year the Brengle Dorm Supervisor. Both he and his wife Tori have been a tremendous blessing on this campus, and they have been heavily involved in outreach and in ministry at an area church while here as well. When asked about his experience at KMBC recently, he responded as follows;
“Being at KMBC has been the most fulfilling time of my life. I know that I am in the center of God’s will here and I now have a better understanding of the depth and breadth of God’s Word. KMBC has encouraged and strengthened my sensitivity to His Spirit, and without KMBC’s strong emphasis on prayer, I would not have the walk with God that I currently do. I thought I had a solid set of Biblical beliefs when I came to college, but I have realized that the world’s way of thinking had a strong grip on my perspective. This school has greatly helped to shape my worldview to echo the principles found in God’s Word.
I am looking forward to answering God’s call to preach. His holiness, and His desire for it in us, shall ring clear through what I do and teach. My passion is to serve Him in any capacity, whether it be a pastorate in the states, or abroad on the mission field. Regardless, I know I am well prepared because of my time spent at KMBC.”
This couple will be sorely missed on this campus and community, but will surely bring the light of God to bear wherever they go. Please pray that God will continue to anoint them for service and love.
