2022 Summer Ministry Teams
KMBC students don’t just learn about ministry, but they are involved in ministry right now. This summer, twelve KMBC students are traveling all across the country representing the college and ministering at camps, churches, and teen retreats. These students are passionate about serving the Lord, and we at KMBC are blessed they have chosen to use their gifts and talents to further the Kingdom of God this summer.
Traveling Trios
Every summer KMBC singing groups travel all over the country to camps and churches, ministering to people and encouraging believers through song and testimony. Our Trios sing beautifully on the platform, but they also display the beauty of Christ through their interactions with those that they meet. At the end of the summer these students not only bring back wonderful testimonies of what God has done in the services they are a part of, but also what God is doing in their own hearts.
They have a full schedule and hardly ever sleep in the same beds for more than one night. Please pray for them, and if you get the chance go to a service – or three! You can follow along with them this summer on Facebook as well.
Anthem Trio
Anthem Trio is made up of Kaitlyn from Ohio (Junior), Trevor from Kentucky (Sophomore), and Claire from Virginia (Junior). This is their first summer traveling together as a Trio. These three students are a blessing to our campus community. They are hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand wherever needed. We are glad they are representing our school this summer.

Rejoice Trio
Rejoice Trio is made up of Gedeon from Rwanda (Junior), Tianna from Texas (Senior), and Stephen from Kentucky (Sophomore). These students have a heart for ministry and a heart for the Lord. They are heavily involved in ministry on and off Campus already. They have been involved in Pro-Life, Street Evangelism, Counseling Teams, and previous singing groups. They are always doing something. This team is full of “energy-givers” and it comes across on the platform and in their personal interactions with people. You will be blessed if you see this group this summer.

Counseling Teams
We are so glad to have two counseling teams on the road this summer. Currently dubbed Purple and Gold Teams, these two groups will be traveling to camps and working primarily with Middle and Highschool students. This group of students is full of life, energy, and enthusiasm. They are trained and have a heart to work with youth. Our counselors lead activities, devotionals, small groups, and skits, and are a great help to programs and youth directors. Our two teams will be in nine different states, over nine weeks.
Encounter Counseling Team
Kayla from Pennsylvania (Senior), Colby from Virginia (Sophomore) and Levai from Papua New Guinea (Freshman) are “Encounter.” Kayla has traveled on counseling teams for many years, and we are looking forward to how Colby and Levai use the gifts and talents God has gifted them with. This team is full of energy, but they know how to rein it in when it’s time to be serious. We are looking forward to hearing the stories of how God uses them for His glory.
Ignite Counseling Team
Brianna from New Jersey (Junior), Taylor from Virginia (Sophomore), and Caleb from Kentucky (Freshman) make up “Ignite.” They are ready to go and impact the youth of today through counseling teams. Each of these students has grown so much over the past year. Although traveling as a counseling team will be a new experience, we are excited to see how God uses this summer to continue to grow them.
