Why I Believe in KMBC
A number of years ago a mechanic friend of mine told me that KMBC should consider buying a Dodge Sprinter Van, built by Mercedes-Benz. He said that they were far superior to any other large vans. He claimed that the fuel economy and the great durability would save us considerable money in the long-run.
I followed his advice. He was right! It has saved us thousands of dollars. The van is 10 years old and has been driven about 320,000 miles. It gets fantastic mileage, uses almost no oil, and runs like a new vehicle! Amazing! Why? It was built by Mercedes-Benz and it was built to last! The counterpart vans look impressive when they are new but aren’t built with the same quality or to the high specifications of Mercedes- Benz. I’m sold on our Sprinter van because it has lasted the life of 2 vans made by its competitors and is still going strong.
I believe in KMBC because the graduates it produces are built to last! Recent nationwide studies are showing that roughly 80% of people who go into the ministry quit within five years. That is deplorable. A few months ago KMBC did a fifteen year study of its recent 4 year grads who went into the ministry. The drop-out rate was only 22% compared to the studies that showed a national drop-out rate of 80%. KMBC’s rate is 363% better! I believe in KMBC because, like Mercedes-Benz, it produces a product that is built to last for the long haul!
