KMBC is true to its mission. KMBC’s mission statement reads: Kentucky Mountain Bible College is a Bible-centered undergraduate higher educational institution whose mission is to equip men and women to serve with

• a passion to Know God
• a passion to prepare for His Ministry
• a passion to live and teach the message of Biblical holiness
• a passion to evangelize and disciple the world for Christ

The word “passion” is repeated four times in our brief statement. We want our students to be passionate about spiritual matters! To us it is of utmost importance. Our country has more than enough lukewarm, tepid, and mediocre Christianity. KMBC is in the business of producing graduates who are on fire and passionate about their faith. We want them to be passionate about these 4 things

• 1st – Knowing God – He is the biggest and greatest person in the universe. We want our students to have an intimate, vibrant relationship with God.
• 2nd – Preparing for His Service – As kids, we sang the song “Give of Your Best to the Master.” We want our students to do their best when they train for His service. God deserves our best.
• 3rd – Teaching and Preaching Biblical Holiness – The Bible teaches that God can help us live above sin and make us holy. We want our students to spread the good word that Jesus can save from all sin!
• 4th – Evangelize and Disciple the World for Jesus Christ – God wants everyone to be saved. We seek to train and equip our students to know how to lead sinners to Christ and disciple them to follow His ways.

I am very grateful for our mission statement. Praise God, it is more than a catchy, nice sounding slogan. It describes who we are.
